Columbine Goldsmith

Today I discovered Columbine Goldsmith, portrait and fashion photographer, who has shot for Dazed and Confused and W Magazine. She has also assisted Patrick Demarchelier, who is one of my all time favourite photographers. Goldsmith's images are pretty and ethereal, capturing moments of intimacy and thought, with her use of a Mamiya 7 and Polaroid Land Camera. Her talent came from a young age; "My father is a cinematographer and gave me a camera when I was quite young. I took my first roll of film in Mexico in 1986 (I was five) and actually they remain my favourtie photos to this day.
