Eley Kishimoto: Living with Patterns

On Friday night, as part of London Fashion Week, Eley Kishimoto opened his exhibition 'Living with Patterns' at the Aram Gallery on Drury Lane. The exhibition, on the top floor of the modern furniture store selling the likes of Eames and Le Corbusier, celebrates twenty years of Kishimoto's eponymous patterns. The aim of the exhibition is to continue Kishimoto's maxim "Print the World" into the future, showcasing new work which represents how Eley Kishimoto currently sees their position within the world of design, craft and fashion. Flash gnomes welcome visitors to the exhibition, followed by a collaboration with Clark's shoes and Kishimoto's Spring/Summer '13 collection, "In Shape". A unique twist at the end of the exhibition is the collaboration between classic Moorcroft pottery and Eley Kishimoto fabric designs. The exhibition will remain at the Aram Gallery until 27 October.
