Charlotte Gainsbourg by Hedi Slimane, Vogue Paris December 2007/January 2008

I recently found this back issue of Vogue Paris, from December 2007/January 2008 issue with Charlotte Gainsbourg as the guest editor selected by Carine Roitfeld. Most notable is the portraits of Gainsbourg by Hedi Slimane, recently appointed designer for Yves Saint Laurent, replacing the outgoing Stefano Pilati. Slimane, previously head designer at Dior Homme, has been absent from fashion design since 2007, pursuing instead a successful career as a fashion photographer, evident in the black and white photographs here.
