Jean Shrimpton, New York 1962 by David Bailey

Have you seen the latest BBC drama, "We'll Take Manhattan", which explores the love affair between fashion photographer and artist David Bailey and his muse Jean Shrimpton? Starring Aneurin Barnard as Bailey and Karen Gillan as Shrimpton, the BBC4 programme is set within a prestigious fashion shoot for Vogue magazine in the early 60's. Although I recommend watching the dramatisation, it is the original photographs from 1962 that are worth looking at, as reproduced below.
