Marc by Marc Jacobs A/W 2012 New York Fashion Week
The Marc by Marc Jacobs collection for A/W 2012 had a minimal feeling, from the plain varnished wood catwalk, to the model's slicked-back side partings, and the streamlined silhouettes of the dresses. This season the design team were inspired by the 1980 Moscow Olympics and Russian Constructivism. This has resulted in a highly covetable collection, I particularly love the mixture of little-girl dresses with chunky grey socks and biker boots.
