Merilin Perli by Stefan Heinrichs for Sleek Magazine #33

A few posts ago I featured some images from Sleek Magazine, here's another editorial from them, 'The Olympic Hopeful' with some gorgeous items from Celine and Paula Ka. Which is your favourite look?

Celine A/W12 Paris Fashion Week

The Celine show this season was a laid-back affair, reduced to an intimate presentation, due to the impending arrival of creative director Phoebe Philo's third child. This certainly didn't stop the designer pulling out all the stops and showing 22 distinctly Philo creations; all thoroughly slick, modern and wearable. There were the signature boxy coats and smart 3/4 length trousers, this time with added zips and colourful accents. This was a much more graphic collection for Celine; block colours of lurid pink or vibrant orange, and stripes of red and turquoise running down jumpers and jackets. These were complimented by neck scarves, that although look like silk, were actually leather.

A New Discovery.. CO|TE

Meet my latest discovery, design duo Tomaso Anfossi and Francesco Ferrari who make up the new Italian label CO|TE. Think Celine with a mixture of it's high street equivalent COS. Below are images for their SS12 Collection, which features defined volumes and materials; shirts with feather collars and leather tailoring with accents of orange. Anfossi and Ferrari trained at the formidable Instituto Marangoni in Milan, and site fellow Italian designers as inspiration, particularly Gianni Versace and Miuccia Prada. The woman they design for is certainly one with a fashionable curiosity, "who love to experiment without being ordinary" and one who appreciates the kind of quality only the Italians know how to do best.
